Peripheral Neuropathy |
Peripheral neuropathy is the result of damage to the nerves. Such a nerve-related problem usually causes pain and numbness in people’s feet and hands. This pain is usually described as a burning or tingling sensation and affected people often suffer a complete loss of any sensation in the aforementioned body parts.
Still, as has been seen in quite a lot of cases, peripheral neuropathy symptoms improve slowly with time, more so if the nerve-damage was caused by a treatable underlying condition. There are even a number of different medications that can be used to lessen the symptoms of peripheral neuropathy, which are considered to be more painful than the others. |
